Tom Drake started intermittent fasting in 2018 with the goal of becoming healthier and from the numbers he shared below he is well on his way. His eating window is generally 12 pm to 8 pm. He also started cutting out things like pop, beer, chips, and pretzels.
He was over 210 lbs when he started his journey and thought a good goal would be to get down to 175 lbs. Then in 2019, he bought a smart scale and noticed that he needed to be under 172.6 lbs to have a BMI that’s within normal range, so he adjusted his goal to 172. Tom said, “I didn’t want to hit my goal and yet still be just 3 lbs overweight :)”
On Feb. 9th, 2021 it finally happened, he hit his goal! Tom also noted since he didn’t have a scale from the beginning, it’s really over 40 lbs-gone. Next up, get his body fat down a bit more while adding some muscle.
